Reply:There's no reason for that. Many creams are somewhat toxic (esp. for the liver) and are tested on animals. The more cream you use, the more poison your body has to process.

Do one thing. Take a table spoon of honey and add 2-3 drops of lemon juice in it. Apply and keep for 5 mins. You wont see effect in a week but it will definitely do the trick. You can also use lacto-calamine lotion. Its much safer than these MAGIC creams!

Reply:I use Olay whitening Lotion for the face and NIvea whitening cream for the body. But the most important thing is still to stay away from the sun. Don't go outdoors in the afternoon unless it's absolutely necessary

Not using shaving cream? My skin around the Chin to Jaw area is really dry.?

I'm not sure if it's the acne product I'm using but that's the only place it's dry, so Im thinking It could probably be shaving because I don't use shaving cream, Is that bad? I only use water.

Reply:Well yeah you dont have anything to lube up the skin! It isn't just for decoration...

Reply:You have to use something to shave your face with!!!! Just water will cause dryness and razor burn! Use shaving gel or even hair conditioner, but please use something!!!!





No acne products they contain harsh chemicals and will dry your face out more.

Reply:yes, since you aren't using shaving creme, then you skin can get very dry. The acne medicine you are using can dry out the skin as well. Shaving opens up your pores, and using just water actually dries out your skin more, therefore causing itching, flaky skin and dark spots.





Shave with a shaving LOTION, not creme. The shaving lotion will help repair the dry skin and introduce the best type of moisture. My bf uses gelette shaving lotion and it helps him a lot with his dry facial skin.
Reply:you definitely want to use shaving cream or gel. The Edge gel I use makes my face feel cool and no burning after I shave.

Reply:not using shaving cream will irritate the skin. use both shaving cream as well as a good lotion for after shave.
Reply:I think sense your not shaving with something to protect your skin from being scrapped against and making it all chapped. That's probably the reason why its happening.If your start with something, maybe use something with out alcohol in it.so it doesn't agitate your acne medicine.?It also could be the weather too! hot to cold so fast?

Reply:You really should use a mild soap or a shaving cream. If acne is making it hard to shave you might better invest in an electric shaver. It's pretty expensive (especially compared to a disposable razor, like $35-$95 or more), but it's much easier on your face. And you only have to pay once.





I don't know if it will interfere with your acne treatment, but I like Gillette Gel as an aftershave. The tiniest dab is all you need. A bottle should last a year and it really softens your skin. And the scent is pretty mild.

every product works different for everyone. but try avon acne products, really helped me out. I think its called true-porefection, something like that. ALso, u could try mary kay even complexion essence for discoloration. im seeing results.

Reply:i use something called benzyclin, or benzamyacin (sp?). u have to get that from your doctor, but all that does is severely dry out your skin- if u drink more water, and actually red clover tea helps clear up your skin too. Good luck.
Reply:Sally's beauty supply store carries a product called Witch Hazel Astrigent. It really works! I clean my face with it everytime I finish washing with pro-active.
Reply:Go to the drug store and look for Queen Helene's Mint Julip mask. It's the best acne product out there I think. You can put it on a blemish and overnight it's like it disappears. Even celebrities use it but it's inexpensive. Good luck

i started shaving when i was about 9 or so and i got a few nicks and cut scars that make my legs look horrid i need a cream that can deminish those dark spots the sun made from the scaring and all. what is a good cream i can buy that will work and where can i get it

you can try dermaline skin whitening cream or lotion.. it's what i use to keep away the pigmentations. :-)
