try baby oil after you shower, it keeps your skin smooth and moisterized.
Reply:E45, VASLINE, NIVEA, ANTI WRINKLE CREAM, TONING CREAM, GO TO THE BODY SHOP THEY CAN HELP YOU ALSO OR BOOTS CHEMIST
Reply:Try The Body Shop Body Butters, they are a 24 hour moisturiser, I have a daughter of 18 years so am not a spring chicken but my skin has been so soft and smooth since I started using them.
Reply:E4 cream is probably what you are looking for.
It's cheap and women buy it by the lorry load.

Reply:Yes, use natural oils. The ones that you get when you are exceited - they are good for laods. Use mans if you can.
Reply:forget all the others. Go to Boots and ask for Doublebase. I have really bad dry skin and this stuff is wonderful. It is a bit pricier than the others but it is worth every penny.
This is what it says on the tube "A highly moisturising and protective hydrating gel for regular and frequent use in the management of dry or chapped skin conditions which may also be itchy or inflammed"
Reply:I would recommend any moisturising products for The BodyShop. They are great! Especially the coco butter body butter. If u use the coco butter cream body scrub then the body butter, it will leave your skin looking and feeling great!
You could also try their vitamin e products.

Ive tried them all, and I didnt have this problem til about 3 yrs ago when I developed diabetes. Its mainly around the ankles up to the knee area. Its caused from poor circulation. I dont know... just a thought, if its a new problem- you may want to get checked. It was the only sign for me. I never had dry skin then all of a sudden it was terrible.
Reply:I suffer from the same but i find if I exfoliate regularly with an exfoliating cream/shower gel or these puff balls that you can get from the body shop, and then use a good moisturiser like the ones mentioned before E45, Dove, Nivea, etc
I use Clinique sparkle skin, and then use Clinque deep comfort body butter. Both work a treat and my skin feels lovely and smooth after.
But there is eucerin which is for problem skin go to www.eucerin.co.uk. They do free samples too.

Reply:Hi have you tried exfoliating then rubbing in baby oil. You can try Bio oil, this is for dihydrated skin as well as other things.Just massage it in and you will have soft skin in no time. Also you can try a 24 hour moisturiser and a moisturising shower gel and moisturies after the shower everytime you wash. I had really bad dry skin and it used to wrinkle up and i found getting in to a routine moisturing every night before going to as it renews ifself during the night and then after every shower. i no its a pain but you get used to it.
Reply:I think you would be best to try a few different kinds - to find what works best for you. Eucerin, E45, Bio-oil, Nivea, Ponds Cocoa butter and Vaseline are a good place to start and do not cost the earth.
Reply:bio oil with some water- really good
Reply:I regularly use E45. Actually, the 1st answer re "tadpole cream" - semen has been proven to be good for your skin and can leave it feeling soft and supple, but you have to rinse it off, like a face pack.
Reply:I suffer from psoriasis and have raised patches of skin in several places on my body my doctor gave me a cream called Aquious cream you can use it in the bath or shower like a bodywash or just apply it on dry skin and it really takes away the dryness.
Reply:cream e45 you can buy it at the local chemist
Reply:it doesnt really matter which brands you use. So long you moisturize your skin - preferably all over - daily esp after shower, it will help to lock in the moisture and keep dryness at bay.
Try to shower twice a day, and follow up with full body moisturising. If you found that the one you use doesnt work well with you, keep trying until you find one which does. Life is about trial and error *winks*

Best cream foundation for oily skin?
i need good cream foundation thats best for oily skin - thats it
thanksss =)
Best cream foundation for oily skin?
if you have oily skin
then DO NOT use cream foundation
it will only make things worse
you want to use powder foundation
that way it will soak up some of the "oil" and wont make your face look too dry =)
Reply:True Match is good.
Reply:Well from my perspective Cream foundations refer to either those ones that come in a little jar or those ones that have a compact with a sponge.... In general cream foundation isn't good for oily skin unless it is specially designed for oily skin, on the other hand the same rule doesn't apply for liquid because my friend has super oily skin and just uses a oil free foundation for normal skin and it works fine..
Reply:clinique
Reply:use covergirl...they make liquid foundation that says oil free.. you should find it at drugstores..its a triangle shaped bottle with a blue lid. you could also apply powder afterward to keep the liquid foundation in place.
Reply:cream foundations and cleansers are for people with dry skin, try a powder foundation, it will help control shine
Reply:you can wear cream, liquid, powder foundation with oily skin, as long as it is the right formula. make sure to look for products that are oil-free, non-acnegenic, and non-comedogenic. these are the foundation formulas i have tried and liked and lasted on my oily skin even through the hot florida summers...
mark powder buff foundation $8
avon perfect wear extralasting $10
revlon colorstay $12
clinique superfit $20
merle norman lasting $26
clarins truly matte $35
they all have pretty extensive color ranges, and can be found all over the US. the first is a powder, and the rest are liquids. you can always "set" a liquid foundation with powder, as well. also, make sure to blot away excess oil with oil-absorbing sheets like clean %26amp; clear $5.

Many beauty products on the market have harmful chemicals in them; do your favorite beauty products contain any of these things?:
* Mineral Oil, Paraffin, and Petrolatum – Petroleum products that coat the skin like plastic, clogging pores and creating a build-up of toxins, which in turn accumulate and can lead to dermatologic issues. Slows cellular development, which can cause you to show earlier signs of aging. Suspected cause of cancer. Disruptive of hormonal activity. By the way, when there’s an oil spill in the ocean, don’t they rush to clean it up – fast? Why put that stuff on your skin?
* Parabens – Widely used as preservatives in the cosmetic industry (including moisturizers). An estimated 13,200 cosmetic and skin care products contain parabens. Studies implicate their connection with cancer. They have hormone-disrupting qualities – mimicking estrogen – and interfere with the body’s endocrine system.
* Phenol carbolic acid– Found in many lotions and skin creams. Can cause circulatory collapse, paralysis, convulsions, coma and even death from respiratory failure.
* Propylene glycol – Used as a moisturizer in cosmetics and as a carrier in fragrance oils. Shown to cause dermatitis, kidney or liver abnormalities, and may inhibit skin cell growth or cause skin irritation.
* Acrylamide– Found in many hand and face creams. Linked to mammary tumors in lab research.
* Sodium laurel or lauryl sulfate (SLS), also known as sodium laureth sulfate (SLES)– Found in car washes, engine degreasers, garage floor cleaners… and in over 90% of personal care products! SLS breaks down the skin’s moisture barrier, easily penetrates the skin, and allows other chemicals to easily penetrate. Combined with other chemicals, SLS becomes a “nitrosamine”, a potent class of carcinogen. It can also cause hair loss. SLES is sometimes disguised with the labeling “comes from coconut” or “coconut-derived
* Toluene – Poison! Danger! Harmful or fatal if swallowed! Harmful if inhaled or absorbed through the skin. Made from petroleum or coal tar, and found in most synthetic fragrances. Chronic exposure linked to anemia, lowered blood cell count, liver or kidney damage, and may affect a developing fetus. Butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) contains toluene. Other names may include benzoic and benzyl.
* Dioxane– Found in compounds known as PEG, Polysorbates, Laureth, ethoxylated alcohols. Common in a wide range of personal care products. The compounds are usually contaminated with high concentrations of highly volatile 1,4-dioxane, easily absorbed through the skin.
Dioxane’s carcinogenicity was first reported in 1965 and later confirmed in studies including one from the National Cancer Institute in 1978. Nasal passages and liver are the most vulnerable. Dioxane is easily removed during the manufacturing process by “vacuum stripping”.
Warning: It is a synthetic derivative of coconut. Watch for hidden language on labels, such as “comes from coconut”.
IF SO, you should throw them away IMMEDIATELY and substitute virgin/extra virgin olive oil or natural coconut oil in the meantime until you find a better alternative!!! Tell ALL your friends and family!!!
Reply:Cream is basically for oily dry skin. You may look at the product label if there's info written there.

Does bleach hair body cream tends to bleach your skin color?

A good hair removal cream for very sensitive skin?
The skin on my legs gets very red and itchy and I've had quite a few problems with it. I'm going to stop shaving my legs with a wet razor to see if that helps, but I'm looking for alternatives? I don't want to use an electric/battery razor as I don't think it gives a close enough shave. I'm way too much of a wimp to try waxing so was looking for a good hair removal cream? Never used one before, are they any good, and how often would you have to use hair removal cream to keep you legs smooth? Also, as my legs really are sensitive, are there creams that are specifically designed for sensitive skins?
A good hair removal cream for very sensitive skin?
why dont you try waxing or laser hair removal? i dont think you should risk trying out more hair removal creams when youre obviously sensitive to that stuff
Reply:If you want to keep shaving your legs then I would strongly recommend using a product like Ultra Shave. It contains grape seed extract which is 15000 times stronger than vitamin E and it is also has wonderful skin healing properties and is ideal for sensitive skin.
If you're after permanent hair removal then you should consider using a home laser hair removal kit like the Rio. It's manufactured in the U.K and uses a safe 808nm diverging diode laser system.
Skin Doctors have a very good cream hair removal product if you're after a depilatory hair remover.

Tanning Cream - bad for skin?
Is there any science that indicates that self-tanning creams are bad for your skin? How do they work?
Tanning Cream - bad for skin?
probably. anything that attracts sun is not good for your skin.
Reply:Maybe not so good for the face. Can cause wrinkling I heard.
Reply:I think there is proof that ALL cosmetic products have negative health implications. There are chemicals and metals (used for pigments) that are not good for us. Our skin is our body's largest organ and absorbs what is smeared on it. That said, I use these products still knowing the negative effects, and find that the worst thing is if it touches my face I'll get pimples. I also smoke, so I'm not the best example for health even though I do know what's right and wrong. I'd say don't use it. Though there are chemicals all around us which we can't avoid too, so, it's up to you. We're all swimming in chemical soup (between air, land and water pollution). Good luck.

my face is ful of acne is not smooth and i need a cream to toning and lighten my complexsion and a bath gel or soap for lightening my skin also.my face is oily but my body is dry and i became dark since i move to sweden, that is why i need a whitening cream.
I need a cream to lighten my skin and what to remove acne from my face,i want a smooth skin?
Lighten skin
-Ponds White Beauty Face Toner.
Remove Acne/Smoothen skin
-After rinsing soaking rice, skim froth off surface. Helps with acne and smoothens skin
-Calamine lotion (pink one) to prevent acne/pimples
Tighten Pores
-use white part of egg, apply to face, and leave it until it dries then wash it off
Reply:i had the same problem. You first have to get rid of the acne before you can lighten it and smooth it.I first got a special prescription from my dermetologists. Then I used nadinola fading cream.
Reply:use Topiclear or Godivia
Reply:If Kokuryu products are available in your area, try Acnone for your acne. It's good. For lightening your skin, try using milk with salt. Combine milk with iodized salt. Put in your body, let it stay for 10 to 20 minutes. Longer if you can. It's effective.
Reply:Your dermatologist can give you a prescription for a very expensive cream that contains ingredients to fight acne as well as lighten skin.
Reply:Natural whitening creams are made of topical-vitamin-C and topical-Niacinamide. check out http://www.acnetreatmentlab.com for more information.
Reply:a mild skin lightening soap can lighten, brighten, and to some level, control your acne.. you see, acne is caused by blocked pores because of dead skin cells on skin.. skin lighteners exfoliate this skin and resurfaces a new layer.. my chin acne bothered me so much before, i do get a pimple or two, but generally the results are good. :-)

Shaving - Lotion/cream for super dry skin?
Hello, I am a 17 year old male and I shave about every 2 days.
Because I have very dry skin, when I shave, it irritates my skin, especially around the jawline. This also leads to bumps on my face.
What is a good lotion/aftershave/cream for shaving with dry skin?
Thanks
Shaving - Lotion/cream for super dry skin?
Nivea makes a really good aftershave lotion for sensitive/dry skin. It's what my husband uses and he really likes it.
Reply:Use womens shaving cream like Skintamete, it's made to soften skin and moisturises also.
Reply:If your skin is a dry, and you are bothered by it, I suggest you try using Zenmed Sensitive Skin Care System from Zenmed or Autopalm from Skinstore.com
Zenmed has no side effects and it's non-irritant to the
skin. It's proven to works fast and it povides Maximum
results! It's certainly a good lotion to prevent further
outbreaks.
Another product that I think is effective is Autopalm. This
dry skin mlm is one of the best seller at skinstore.com now.
(Skinstore.com holds more than 10,000 skin care products) It's pretty effective, and worth the dollar paid out.

Hydrocortisone cream for cat's skin rash?? is it toxic??
My cat gets these skin rashes, or "hot spots?" as I've heard them called. I am constantly taking him to the vet for this. The vet will give him a shot and it'll clear up but then 2-3 weeks later my cat will get another spot. We have tried everything to rule out any allergies and my vet said the only thing we can really do is just wait for them to clear up because it's not good to be giving the cat shots all the time. But now the sore is spreading. I have heard that hydrocortisone cream will work to clear it up, but my cat will just lick the cream off. I was wondering if this cream is toxic? If so, I definetely don't want to use it. Any other suggestions? I don't have the money to take my cat to the vet every couple of weeks.
Hydrocortisone cream for cat's skin rash?? is it toxic??
They have hydrocortisone spray for cats and dogs in the pet section that is safe to spray on pets. I use it on my cats when they get rashes or allergic reactions. I would go see if you can find some in the stores where you live.
Reply:my cat was getting some kinda red rash and the hair was falling out where the rash was it turned out to be ring worm or some kin of fungus type in ring worm in cats on google or some search ands pictures will come up of cats and rashes anyhow i got some lamasil from ride aid the same one you and i would use put some on 2 times a day and it was gone in two weeks has not come back so no i dont think the hydro cream will affect him or lamasil my doctor told me most vets use the same things humans use to treat animals try it if his allergic then stop but it will probably solve it just put a tiny thin layer because they will try to lick or u can get lamisil spray works well
Reply:Hi
It's not toxic to a cat but believe it or not, some cats get steroid induced diabetes so I would look for an alternate.
Could there be food allergies? If so (and even if not) Canned foods w/o gravy are best and if you can go high quality like wellness which doesn't have gluten, that would be better. Some fancy feasts don't have it but don't have my links for which they are. sorry
Reply:Hello..am not sure about the cream, you are right you do have to be careful what you put on cats cuz they to ingest it ( that I would ask the VET about before using )..they can take benadryl..1/2mg per pound up to 2 mgs every 8 hours for allergys %26amp; itching, etc..also pet stores sell brewer yeast tablets, which is also very good for them %26amp; their coats, cats or dogs...as for the sore, it's not unusual for cat sores to stretch %26amp; get big, their skin stretches, as long as the cat or you can keep it broken open for drainage..all will be fine too..the thing with cats %26amp; wounds, is their skin heals over too fast, leaving underneath unhealed, so they often infect, even a few times till they heal..as long as it can be broken by the cat ( as they will do while healing ) all is well, tho it can get a bit gross %26amp; messy..it's just what they have to do to heal properly..Take Care :)
Reply:Use bag balm instead of hydro cortisone. It comes in a green square can. Find it at walmart or a pet store. it is used on horses for similar problems and on minor cuts.it's like the animal version of neosporine. i use it on my dog all the time.
Reply:One of my longhair cats is always getting hot spots, and my vet has prescribed an ointment called Prenine, which clears them up very fast. As I am not sure whether you get the same ointment there, here are the ingredients:Nitronozone, prednisolone, neomycin Sulphate. It is an antibacterial, anti-inflammatory ointment, which is applied once or twice a day. In South Africa, it is only obtainable from a vet, but something similar may be obtained from a pet shop where you are. My vet has in the past, told me that hydro-cortisone is not poisonous to them, but that I should use it very sparingly, and only when I have nothing else to hand. These hot-spots can develop into very nasty, pus filled sores if you are not fast enough in treating them, and then the poor cat needs antibiotics as well.

I'm lookin 4 or a good hair color i hav peaches&cream skin(not pink)&medium brown hair wat color should pick?
i need help and i think i am going 4 light golden brown but will tht turn it redish (i dont want red pleas!)
I'm lookin 4 or a good hair color i hav peaches%26amp;cream skin(not pink)%26amp;medium brown hair wat color should pick?
It depends on the hue of the color you chose, whether or not it'll turn your hair red. You'll want something that's neutral as this will not detract from your skin, which is a warm color in the red family, so it can still be considered pink even if you think it's not. So go for Light Neutral Brown, Clairol has one in Nice n Easy. Or try a Neutral Dark Blonde
Reply:Get some golden highlights they'll look good with youbrown hair. And no it's not gonna turn red unless you get it done at a salon or by someone who's really good at hair coloring.
Reply:i think you should be blond then.
Reply:You certainly can't pick a good one by asking people who can't even see you. What you need to do is go to Sally Beauty Supply, or some other beauty supply store.....look at the swatches they have, hold them up to your skin. Take a good friend or two with you so they can help you decide.
Reply:you certaintly cant pick a good hair color for you by looking at swatches. go to a salon for a free consultation and ask what color would look best with your skin. get advice, and of course the best thing is to have a salon do it, but if thats not what you want, you can work with their suggestions fora DIY homecolor.

A good cream for dry, cracked skin on feet?
A friend has asked me to source a really good cream to stop her heels from cracking from the dry skin she suffers from. I have researched a lot of creams but a lot of them seem to have 'Urea' in them (And we all know what that is!).
Is there a cream out there that people have tried and tested and can recommend - I don't want to insult her by getting a cream with pee in it....
Only sensible answers please - appreciate it!
A good cream for dry, cracked skin on feet?
good old fashion **** might do the trick
Reply:The best cream is Cetaphil. I have used it for years after it was recommended by my dermatologist. Also, tell her to use a pumice stone when she takes a shower or while feet are wet. I used to have bleeding heels and now they are soft as the rest of my body.
Reply:yea Eucerin that is what I use on my feet and dry skin my doctor recommended it to me....So I pass it on to you...It is a little bit more expensive..so hope this helps
Reply:e-45
Reply:E45
Reply:Nivea, it is not specifically for for feet it is in a small tin.
Reply:Moisturisers such as aqueous cream are helpful for all dry skin conditions, my podiatrist recomends it.
Reply:SCHOLL cream for cracked heels is excellent
Reply:dry cracked heels will get bettet if u wipe the cracked area with the inside skin of a banana' try it it really works
Reply:The old fashioned Vaseline. petroleum jelly works wonders, I have used it for 40 years and its great for nappy rash.

Best cream for dried skin on face?
Something I can buy from the store, not something I have to order over the internet or have to hunt down and some health store.
I have some facial hair removed every few weeks, and often times when it starts to grow back in it hurts badly especially since my skin is so dried out in the first place.
What kind of creams do you recommend for dry and sensitive skin?
Thanks :)
Best cream for dried skin on face?
E45 cream or Aqueous cream is very good for dry facial skin and aslo silcox base is good
Reply:I use honey......the best kept secret in the middle east.
Reply:Try Cetaphil facial soap. It's wonderful and you can get it pretty much anywhere.
Reply:baby lotion or ursine they sell then at wal mart.
Reply:use toner , it works better - get a gentle one though, when you're done with that then use a heavy moisturizer... - intensive care lotion....
Reply:Try Cetaphil daily moisturizer. It is what dermatologists always recommend for sensitive skin. It is also very rich and soothing. Try putting on at night, as it is a bit too oily for day under makeup. You can also try CeraVe moisturizing lotion, it is just as good as Cetaphil but not quite as greasy. Both can be bought at most drugstores, like CVS.
Reply:My DR said for me to use "Cetaphil " it is for dry sensitive skin. There is one for dry or oily skin and a special one for face. You can get it at Wal-Mart in the cosemetic section. You might want to talk to the dr that does the hair removal.
Reply:I use Oil of Olay Complete. It comes in a plastic bottle, packaged inside a box. They make it for Normal, Sensitive, %26amp; Dry skin. I buy it at Wal*Mart. It goes on smoothly %26amp; doesn't make the skin feel greasy.
Reply:Dry skin types have to be extremely careful to protect their skin.Yogurt-honey combination helps dry skin. Make an egg pack with a yolk, a teaspoon of honey, a tablespoon of milk powder. This is beneficial to dry skin types. There are many helpful tips to cure dry skin at http://useinfo-dryskin.blogspot.com/
Reply:Dry skin problems respond well to self-care measures, such as using moisturizers and avoiding long, hot showers and baths. If you have very dry and scaly skin, your doctor may recommend you use an over-the-counter cream that contains lactic acid or lactic acid and urea.
In a more serious skin diseases, such as ichthyosis or psoriasis, your doctor may prescribe prescription creams and ointments or other treatments in addition to home care.
Dry skin leads to dermatitis, which causes red, itchy skin. In these cases, treatment may include hydrocortisone-containing lotions. If your skin cracks open, your doctor may prescribe wet dressings with mildly astringent properties to contract your skin and reduce secretions and prevent infection.
I believe http://www.skinsosilky.com/ will help you best for more advices, ideas and best treatments for any skin problem like dry skin.

How is a cream that dries your skin out supposed to help a condition caused by dry skin?
i have seborrheic dermatitis on my face and behind my ears. the dermotologist told me it was caused by dry skin. she gave me one cream for my face and other for my ears. she said to me "Don't use the cream for the back of your ears on you face, it's very drying"
how is a cream that dries your skin out supposed to help a condition caused by dry skin?
How is a cream that dries your skin out supposed to help a condition caused by dry skin?
I have had so many kinds of dermatitis, and dozens of creams and ointments later, I have learned that there are very few if any topical medicines that will actually heal your skin without causing more problems than you started with. Pharmaceutical companies are trying to make a buck, and they will put anything on the market. I think doctors just fill out prescriptions because it's an easy answer. After all of my skin issues, I have found that the best thing for any skin condition is a diet rich in raw fruits, greens, and vegetables, and natural plant oils. My skin is extremely dry, and the best moisturizers I have found are plain shea butter, plain jojoba oil, and plain olive oil. Or with lavender oil added. Shea butter on my face has even tackled breakouts, believe it or not. Doctors can't recommend this stuff because it's too obvious. You wouldn't feel like you got your money's worth sitting in the doctor's office if they just told you to eat plenty of salad and put some jojoba oil on the affected area, now would you?
Reply:Google the name of the cream, and you'll find info on exactly how it works.

Not red, not black. Anything else is pretty much open to you. I would go darker.
Good luck.

there's a process i saw on TV called "Anal Bleeching" it was on Dr. 90210. what they do is that they wax %26amp; bleech the inside of your butt. they have diffrent colors of bleech in order to match your skin tone. hey, if they work on people's butt cracks, i bet that they will work on crotches also.
Reply:I don't think there is anything you can do about it, unless you want to put make up or powder on it.

Does body oil penetrate into the skin more then a cream would?
I have really dry skin especially on my legs and was wondering would a body oil work better instead of a cream or should I miss the two together or and oil in the morning cream at night?
Does body oil penetrate into the skin more then a cream would?
Hi,
I work in a beauty salon and i frequently tell my clients oil is better than a cream as a cream it takes a while to break down the layers of skin to be absorbed where as oil it slides down the tiny hair shafts and is absorbed more readily and easier.
I would use a exfoliator with a oil init or homemade use salt and a oil of your choice and exfoliate whilst in the shower and you will be left wi lovely smoth skin without too much residue from the oil.
Xx

Reply:Rub a light vegetable oil (olive, sunflower, jojoba, hemp) on your legs after the shower.
Natural lizard relief.
Try it just once, it works better than anything you've ever used in your life.
I know, I used to itch from dry skin on my legs and would scratch them at night so bad they bled.
A little sunflower oil solved the problem immediately.
Cheap, easy and no petro-chemical residue.
Reply:try bathing in bio oil or baby oil and bath with e45 lotion it works and makes your smooth and realy soft
Reply:I have found baby oil is really great! Rub it in after a shower, while you are still wet. Then just pat dry - this locks in more moisture and leaves skin really silky especially if you do this everyday.

My tattoo is peeling. Should I continue to use the Skin mousturizing cream the shop gave me?
I have a fairly large tattoo piece of a phoenix. The stuff I use is H2Ocean care. It's aftercare cream for tattoos. Will it ruin my tat if I continue to use it 4-5 times a day?
My tattoo is peeling. Should I continue to use the Skin mousturizing cream the shop gave me?
You can continue applying the cream 4-5 times a day provided you're only applying a thin layer. A part of the healing process is to let your tattoo heal. Don't apply too much cream and ensure that the cream is evenly spread out.
If H2Ocean isn't working for you, try Savlon. I use Savlon Antiseptic Cream by Johnson %26amp; Johnson for all my new tattoos. Their tagline says it all...Soothes, Heals and Protects. All my tattoos have healed well and it did wonders for the itchiness.
If you can't get Savlon from the pharmacy, try getting Soov. Soov is another antiseptic cream that is pretty darn good. Soov is by Ego Pharmaceuticals Pty Ltd.

Reply:peeling is natural and yes still use the cream. don't pick the scabs or help it peel by taking it off, you will ruin the color of your tattoo.
i know i have three and i just couldn't wait for that last piece to fall off so i took it off and now i have a white mark where it is suppose to be black.
moisturizing is the best for it. don't let it dry out.
Reply:No it will not kill the color even if you use it 20 times a day. It keeps the color in them.
Reply:yes you should still put something on it. your tatoo is suppose to peel. you'll be fine
Reply:No, keep using it. I still moisturise a few times a day, for about a month AFTER they have apparently healed.
Reply:Keep using it, mosturizing the dry skin will help it heal naturally.

When you apply face cream does it let your skin breath?
i was wondering is it good to apply face cream everyday day night and day ? does it let your skin breath through it?
is it good to let you skin be without face cream every other day or so? or apply it everyday?
When you apply face cream does it let your skin breath?
if you get a good one which really soaks in to your skin ( which is what it's ment to do) n doesnt leave greasy marks on your skin then yes it will. face creams are good for you!!!!
Reply:i am sorry
i do not know
Reply:Maybe you could try a face powder.
Its much more breathable, but if you still want to wear cream ask some one at the shop to recommend a more breathable one.

Dry skin ? Need a good cream?
Every day when I wake up I see my skin flaking off. This also happens after I take a shower.. is it cause my skin is dry? What kind of cream brand do you reccomend? I have blackheads on my nose so I don't want it to clog my pores more.. and my cheeks get extremely dry. I'm not sure if my face is oily because its too dry or because of hormones.. I'm 14. Any suggestions?
Dry skin ? Need a good cream?
Fish Oil supplements are really good for dry skin! I have these little bump things on my arms from my dry skin and Fish Oil has helped my skin A LOT in the little time I've used it, the bumps are going away and my skin is softer and it's not as itchy and dry!
You can find it at any drug store, it's relatively inexpensive
Good luck! :]

Reply:my skin was like that too. I started using Vichy. I use the cleanser and the moisturizer, and now my skin is fine. I'd recommend it. If you decide to buy it, buy the pack that comes with the cleanser, moisturizer, and a small "night time" bottle. It is a lot cheaper then buying everything individually.
Reply:I would suggest you wash your face with dove soap everywhere on your face, then wash your face, use cliniouqe (may not be how you spell it). It works and will not break out either! Hope this helps!
Reply:Aloe Vera cream or lotion is very natural and healing
Reply:I always have used sensitive skin Oil of Olay. I also use Night-A-Mins at nighttime by Origins which doesn't leave my skin feeling oily when I wake up. Avoid putting lotion n your oily spots and to remove the blackheads, use Biore's Deep Cleansing Pore Strips. Also remember that you can take care of your skin from the inside-out. You can improve your complexion by drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day and eating foods rich in antioxidants such as red and black beans, strawberries, cranberries, blueberries, apples, russet potatoes, and pecans. Hope that helps!
Reply:my skin also dry... i'm using Dove soap and using nivea for mosturisting... it really feels good now... try it na....!!!!
Reply:Use purpose moisterizers. They are fragrance free, oil free and does not clog pores. I use both and i love it-no breakouts. Its not oily and it moisterize my skin. good lucK!
Reply:Dry skin types have to be extremely careful to protect their skin.Yogurt-honey combination helps dry skin. Make an egg pack with a yolk, a teaspoon of honey, a tablespoon of milk powder. Can anyone out there suggest a skin fade cream that really works?
I have a few sun spots (brownish) on my forehead that I would like to fade. I have seen a dermatologist and purchased a Rx cream that still DID NOT produce any substancial results. If anyone has any other suggestions for sun/age spot fading or removal, please let me know!
Thanks.

SkinLight™ Skin Lightening %26amp; Fade Cream will fade them away. You will begin to see the dramatic results in just a few short weeks. After 90 days of regular usage you will have an even-colored, uniform complexion
SkinLight™ Skin Lightening Cream is so effective because it contains the highest amount of hydroquinone or "skin bleach" allowable by law, without a prescription. Hydroquinone is on of the most effective skin lightening agents available. Used it regularly and you will see SkinLight™ fade dark spots on the face, hands and other body areas.
Unlike other "fade creams", SkinLight™ is engineered to allow the active ingredient (hydroquinone) deep inside the skin for faster results. Superior absorption means it is able to bleach the toughest spots that other fade creams can't even touch.
Unlike other fade creams which can cause dryness, soreness, and even cracking of the skin, SkinLight™ will not burn or dry out your skin. SkinLight™ contains lanolin and other essential oils to moisturize and soften the skin while it lightens and evens the pigmentation.
It really works and I don't work for the company or anything!
Thanks.

If i want to use a skin lightening cream in a small area...?
will it lighten the skin that is already light and make it look weird? how do i avoid that?
If i want to use a skin lightening cream in a small area...?
just make sure that you get it in the area that you need it and not anywhere else.
Reply:no. most vanishing creams only target the dark areas.

The best thing to do is to use a really good sunscreen. This is hard to find in a drug store. You can get one online called
Elta Block. Its a broad spectrum sunblock with moisturizer.
Other then that to to stay out of the sun during the times the sun is the brightest 12-2 or wear sun protective clothing.
Reply:I do not know you but I will tell you, you are beautiful no matter what color. Be proud of who you are.

I am still 32 years old. Is it ok to use a face cream for mature skin?
since i can't read labels in japanese well I ended up buying the wrong face cream. I purchased one that is intended for mature skin. I actually thought I had mature skin(hahaha!) until i found out that we have mature skin when we are in our 50s.
I am still 32 years old. Is it ok to use a face cream for mature skin?
As we age, our bodies stop producing as much oil (sebum) as when we were younger. This lack of sebum actually can cause wrinkles to appear (sometimes prematurely). Our bodies also slow the production of other substances, such as collagen. Creams intended for "mature skin" aim to supplement the skin with elements that it no longer produces naturally. These products tend to be richer/thicker and provide a much higher level of moisture than the lotions I would recommend to a teenager.
So, even though you're still young, if you have very dry skin, this cream will probably work fine for you. If you tend to have greasier skin (and break out sometimes) this cream will probably leave you looking too shiny and contribute to acne. If it doesn't make you break out, you could always use it at night for a "boost" when being shiney isn't an issue.
Reply:It is all the same. Different bottle for advertising purposes.

Reply:One of the most popular Japanese face creams is indeed for mature skin, and marketed under the slogan, "From when you're 30...." It's all relative, I suppose, but you're old enough to know that.
Reply:all the top face cream makers! say that u should really start using anti aging creams at 25. so u r a bit late! lol
Reply:Mature skin requires additional moisture so if your skin is dry, this cream should work very well.
Reply:It is always safe to use cream on your face specially at night. If you lived in a dryer climate like AZ it is better to use moisturizing cream to keep your skin supple and healthy.
Humid climate is fine since your skin is always stimulated all the time with humidity.
Reply:i guess it couldn't hurt...........ur just getting in early!
think of ur skin the way it is now, in ur 50's - WOOHOO!!! lol
Reply:It shouldn't bother you at all. I'd only worry if it clogged your pores or something. If you start getting black heads or zits after using the stuff, stop! Then get something really light.
Reply:yesssssssssssss..look my skin..thats perfect..i have 36 years

Has anyone used Ultra Glow Skin Tone Cream?
does it work? it seems to be making me look duller and darker. Any advice? Also, any suggestions to a cream that will make me glow-be brighter and even.
Has anyone used Ultra Glow Skin Tone Cream?
OMG the same exact thing happened to me too!! I kept using it and it didn't work. If it is Jergens, than you probably have the wrong skin tone. But if it is not Jergens than try that, because once i got the right skin tone I glowed like a lightbulb!!
GOOD LUCK!!

Any one can recommend a good face cleanser and moisturizer cream for oily skin type? NOTHING WORKS and wat doc gave is crap. makes me dry out
Any one can recommend a good face cleanser and moisturizer cream for oily skin type?
Use a good oil control face wash , Neutrogena (oil control face wash ) or the more gentle cetaphil face wash. The tea tree oil face wash from body shop can also be used. A non alcoholic toner can be used. Use face blotting tissues to remove excess oil from the T zone and around your nose is where you get very oily patches. Does anyone know what a good skin lightening cream is?
My daughter is dark complected and would like to find something to lighten her skin. I would like to find something safe that will not cause any damage to her beautiful youthful skin. Summer is comming and we have a very hard time of it. She lives is SPF 50 sunscreen and still tends to get even darker. If anyone has tried any products that work and have not caused any nasy side effects please share your knowledge.
Does anyone know what a good skin lightening cream is?
I don't know of any skin lightening cream that is safe but I've heard and tried some home remedies. (I have some tan spots that I would like to make paler) Rubbing lemon on your skin for maybe 5 minutes and rinsing it off with warm water seemed to work for me. It kind of burns but that is normal since lemon is an acidic fruit. I don't think that it damaged the skin. Rubbing slightly sour milk on the dark parts of skin also worked. Use some milk that's a few days after the experation date and rub it on your skin for about 10 minutes. Rinse well with warm water. Neither of these work after one try so in order to see some lighter skin, they will have to be done about 2 to 3 times a week. Everybody's skin is different so I don't know if these will work for your daughter but I hope that they do. You can find more home remedies if you google it.
Reply:Monistat vaginal cream, I use it on my teeth and face all the time.

How fast does the skin bleaching cream Hyrdoquinone work?
I have just started it it makes a difference but I would like to know how long it take to bleach your skin.
How fast does the skin bleaching cream Hyrdoquinone work?
Actually it takes more than a week and less than a month.
But please be wary of sun exposure while using this product.
use sunscreen and SPF when goind out. Also, do not very high percent because it has been proven to be very toxic to the skin. Also, make sure you do not use this for more than 3 months or so. But to bleach skin more safely, I'll type a small info for you:
Most skin whiteners currently on the market contain ingredients (hydroquinone, ascorbic acid, kojic acid, arbutin, azealic acid, glycyrrhetinic acid (licorice extract)) that act as direct inhibitors of tyrosinase, the enzyme in the skin pigment cells (melanocytes) that make melanin.
Arbutin is a new type of skin de-pigmentation and whitening agents, an extract of Bearberry plant which produced by a solid /liquid extraction, an environmentally friendly process. Arbutin protect the skin against damage caused by free radicals, Arbutin is a skin whitening agent which is very popular in Japan and Asian countries for skin de-pigmentation, Arbutin inhibits the formation of melanin pigment by inhibiting Tyrosinase activity. It may be used to repress the virulence of bacterial pathogens and to prevent contaminating bacteria, it is also used for treating allergic inflammation of the skin . More recently, Arbutin has been used to prevent pigmentation and to whiten the skin beautifully. It can be used to whiten the skin, to prevent liver spots and freckles, to treat sunburn marks and to regulate melanogenesis.
Arbutin is very safe skin agent for external use which does not have toxicity, stimulation, unpleasant odor or side effect such as Hydroqinone. The encapsulation of Arbutin constitute a delivery system to potentialize the effect in time. It is a way to incorporate the hydrophilic Arbutin in lipophilic media. Arbutin give three main properties; Whitening effects, anti- age effect and UVB/ UVC filter .
There is an increasing awareness that vitamin C has a wide variety of role in human health. New therapeutic uses are being investigated daily, among recent discoveries is that Vitamin C can play important role in the health and beauty of your skin. Vitamin C as ascorbyl form has been tested extensively and reported in journal of American Academy of Dermatology to inhibit the production of the melanin (Melanin is the pigment which give the skin it's dark color), when Vitamin C inhibit the production of the melanin, a lighter and brighter skin will reveal in just few weeks.
Vitamin C does more than that also, vitamin C is required for collagen synthesis, which declines markedly in aging skin. As we grow older, we suffer diminished micro capillary circulation within our skin, which deprives our skin cells of the supply of vitamin C it needs for youthful collagen synthesis. The topical application of vitamin C in a skin-penetrating medium can dramatically enhance the availability of vitamin C for collagen production.
Vitamin C regenerates vitamin E in the skin. An antioxidant like vitamin E can only suppress a limited number of free radicals before it runs out of electrons to donate. Vitamin C regenerates vitamin E and enables vitamin E to provide sustained antioxidant protection in the skin's elastin fibers.
Vitamin C plays a vital role in skin repair. When your skin is injured, its Vitamin C content is used up rapidly in the scavenging of free radicals, and in synthesizing collagen to speed healing.
Glycyrrhetinic acid, isolated from Glycyrrihiza glabra (licorice) is widely used in cosmetic industry. Licorice inhibit tyrosinase activity of melanocytes without any cytotoxicity, it also showed that UV-B–induced pigmentation and erythema can be inhibited by topical application of 0.5% Licorice The anti-inflammatory properties of Licorice were attributed to inhibition of superoxide anion production and cyclooxygenase activity.
As a fungal metabolic product, kojic acid inhibits the catecholase activity of tyrosinase, which is the rate-limiting, essential enzyme in the biosynthesis of the skin pigment melanin. Kojic acid also is consumed widely in the Japanese diet with the belief that it is of benefit to health. Indeed, it has been shown to significantly enhance neutrophil phagocytosis and lymphocyte proliferation stimulated by phytohemagglutinin. Melanocytes treated with kojic acid become nondendritic with a decreased melanin content. Additionally, it scavenges reactive oxygen species that are excessively released from cells or generated in tissue or blood.
This tyrosinase inhibitor was isolated from a plant herbal extract. The plant roots from which paper mulberry was isolated were collected in Korea. The tyrosinase inhibition of paper mulberry was compared to kojic acid and HQ. The IC50, the concentration causing 50% inhibition of the activity of tyrosinase, was reported to be 0.396% compared to 5.5% for hydroquinone and 10.0% for kojic acid.
Melanostat is a peptide obtained by amino acid synthesis with a technique of Merryfield. It demonstrate an outstanding anti MSH activity experimentally investigated for skin lightening. The target of Melanostat the membrane receptor of alpha-MSH on the melanocytes, the B- MICR receptor , its mode of action is a competitive inhibition of alpha-MSH, membrane receptors are blocked in a natural way. The anti-MSH is a molecule naturally present in the skin. It belong to the system of regulation of the pigmentation. Melanostat counterbalances the formation of melanin and especially the synthesis of tyrosinase, key enzyme involved in the process of pigmentation. In the skin, alpha-MSH plays an essential role in the stimulation of the synthesis of melanin. This process is under the control of an anti—MSH, also naturally present in the skin.
Recently, researches performed on alpha- MSH enabled a detailed study of the structure and function of this molecule, so as the exact determination of its receptor. This receptor is B receptor, its scientific determination is MICR receptor. The study of these molecules enabled researchers to synthesize peptides with a similar (MSH-like), or antagonist (anti-MSH) activity. The structure of Melanostat antagonist peptide of the alpha-MSH, is relatively similar to the structure of alpa-MSH. Because of this similarity, Melanostat acts while competing the receptors of alpha-MSH on the melanocytes. The action of Melanostat occurs before the action of the well-known inhibitors. Which acts on the intracellular enzyme system. Melanostat does not penetrate the cell because its competitive activity initiates on membrane receptors. Its action enables a natural and reversible blockage of the membrane receptors, without disturbing the physiological functioning of the cutaneous cells. Thus, Melanostat counteracts the formation of melanin and notably the synthesis of tyrosinase, key enzyme of the pigmentation process of the skin. The anti-MSH molecule naturally exist in the organism, and is involved in a system that regulates melanogenesis. It is activated in season changes. When sunshine is high, the amount of alpha MSH exceed the amount of anti-MSH. The receptors for alpha-MSH multiply at the surface of the cells. The results is an increase of the synthesis of the melanin and the rise of the pigmentation of the skin. When the sunshine is low, anti-MSH exceed alpha-MSH. The receptors at the surface of the melanocytes decrease. The synthesis of melanin is not stimulated anymore, pigmentation of the skin decreases. Thus, alpha-MSH and anti-MSH play the role of accelerator or brake for the synthesis of melanin. Depending on the predominance of anti-MSH or alpha-MSH, the color of the skin evolves in a away or another.
The incorporation of Melanostat in skin lightening creams will place the skin in a physiological dominant anti-MSH situation. Its action is based on the reinforcement of the natural ability of the skin to counteract the activity of alpha-MSH. Melanostat has been investigated in vivo against alpha MSH: the darkening of the skin induced by alpha-MSH is assessed and expressed in percentage of change by comparison with the normal situation.
Retinol is the most important natural form of vitamin A. Vitamin A is the first vitamin to be used topically for the treatment of damaged human skin. Today, the term vitamin A is applied to retinol (Vitamin A alcohol), retinal (Vitamin A aldehyde) and tretinoin (Vitamin A acid). Vitamin A stimulates mitotic activity and the production of collagen - the stuff skin is made of. It is now known that the clinical effect obtained with high doses of vitamin A is necessary for normal differentiate and maintenance of epithelial tissues. Especially, retinol is held out as the new great hope for reduction of photo aging skin. Retinol or Vitamin A helps to renew and exfoliate the skin, giving a new lighter, beautiful skin.
Reply:I have tried this product before it is great and very effective bust after i consulted a doctor i was told that it is very dangerous and that i should never used anything that contains hydroquinone....so becareful
Reply:It takes a good four to six weeks to start seeing marked results from hydroquinone. It is very important to always wear a sunblock when using this ingredient. Otherwise you are really defeating the purpose of trying to lighten up dark spots. Also you should note that if you are pregnant, are going to become pregnant, or have liver problems you can not use this product because it eliminates itself through the liver. There are conflicting arguments about the safety of hydroquinone. Other holistic alternatives that will work just as well are kojic acid, vitamin k, vitamin c, bilberry extract and a multitude of others. You can find products containing a blend of many of these ingredients. Try Peter Thomas Roth, DDF, or Murad for starters.

Went to dermatologist to get bleaching cream for my brown spots on my face. But cream broke my skin. help rep
I went to Bath %26amp; Body %26amp; asked a sales clerk for the same problem. They sold me a bleaching roll-on. It's been mmm 2 months %26amp; the marks are almost gone. I tend to have sensitive skin %26amp; no problems yet.
Reply:honey is not a good choice...even though this seems like a bad thing...i would go to another dermatologist to see what they can do to help...every dermatologist isnt the best..thats why you have to find a very good one...
Reply:The dermatologist should be notified of this problem and to advise you on what to do.
Don't think their are to many derm doctors on here do you think?
Reply:You definitely need to let your dermatologist know. You might be having an allergic reaction to the cream. I went to a dermatologist in Jr. High. He had me take Retina for my acne and it caused my skin to become so sensitive to the touch that if I scraped my skin it was then raw. I wouldn't use anything else on your face until you talk with your dermatologist because it might have a reaction with the medicine you already are putting on your face. If your dermatologist will not prescribe something better and different to you, I would then find another one and then let them know your situation and what happened to your skin.
Reply:Call back the doctor and tell him what happened exactly. This does happen sometimes, prescriptions react differently on people. For now, cold water on your face to calm the burning. If you have Vitamin E oil just dab some on the irritated spots. Don't worry doctors cannot always predict what will happen but know how to fix it. At the same time, did you use it properly. At any case don't worry. You will be fine. Take care.
Reply:Not sure how bad of an area you are trying to bleach, but I had a LOT of sun damage to my nose, which caused so much freckling that it turned it brown. eeek. I used Retin-A for about 3 months and there is not one trace of freckling on my nose currently, it got rid of all of it. Not sure if it would work for you or not, but you might want to investigate.

Does using a skin lightening cream affect a face prone to acne?
HELP.....i need to know .
I try my best to get rid of pimples but i was wondering, if i use the bleaching cream....will it affect or cause more acne?
Does using a skin lightening cream affect a face prone to acne?
Well you can use the tretinoin soap. It will fix your problems ...

Reply:for people with sensitive skin, yes. whitening creams remove the top pigment layer making ur skin too soft and delicate. any small acne or cut will leave a mark.
but for oily skin its ok. the bleaching creams have drying agents like alcohol so this will remove the excess oil, making ur skin normal.
for normal and dry skin, the cream will make too dry. so u need to mosturise a lot
Reply:It depends on your skin type [dry, oily, normal]. If your skin is oily, it can make it worse as the whitening creams have some alcohol in them. It may help if you have dry or normal skin, but you should maybe go to a professional skin care line to get it. Shiseido [sp?] has some good whitening products, like toner and cream.
Reply:When you say "skin lightening cream", I assume you're referring to a pigmentation cream with retinol or kojic-acid.
A common reaction to these ingredients is some redness on the area where you're using it, so you should consult your dermatologist if you have sensitive skin or if irritation persists.
As far as causing acne, I would say that it's not related to the use of this sort of products. Acne forms when pores become clogged with sebum, dead skin cells and bacteria.
Reply:it's a yes or no because it depends on your skin sensitivity and the skin lightening product.. if you chose a good skin lightening cream or product that your skin didn't react to, then it's a perfect match.. i would suggest not a cream, but a black licorice lightening soap that has good reviews on clearing blemishes and lightening effects..
skin lighteners are not specifically formulated for moisturizing effects, but for lightening.. you have an oily face, so the least you need is another moisturizer.. i've tried this soap and has read other users' comments that it indeed helps clear up the skin.. dont worry, it's safe and potent, here's the source -

Is there any Skin Whitening Cream ?
I need a crem that can whitening my skin tone %26amp;%26amp; i also need to know where i can get it from ! please i am in deep deep trouble here!
Is there any Skin Whitening Cream ?
If you need skin whitening cream for a medical reason see a dermatologist, otherwise skin bleaching is absolutely unnecessary.
Reply:Artistry has a product called Bright Idea illuminating Essence that works really good. It lightens and brightens skin, evens out skin tone and gets rid of spots. It's completely guarenteed to work or they'll give you a full refund. You can't get it in stores but you can get it at http://www.adrennan.qheatlhbeauty.com just type bright idea into the search box and it should come up. Like I said if you get it and for whatever reason don't like it just get your money back :)

I have oilly skin which cream will be helpful?
When i was 4 years old i was suffering with tuberculiosis(T.B)
At that age my skin was fairer. After sometime disease was cure but due to some medicine, the skin becoming darker day by day
I have oilly skin which cream will be helpful?
Most often, people with oily skin should not use moisturizers or cream. If skin is left feeling dry after cleansing, change the cleanser rather than add a moisturizer. A good toner should be all the moisturizer that oily skin needs (toner should leave skin feeling refreshed and never dry). Even then, a sunblock applied during the day should be more than enough. Avoid moisturizers and sunblocks that contain acne-aggravating products such as cocoa butter, acetated lanolin alcohols, isopropyl esters, isopropyl myristate, lanolin, lanolin fatty acid, linseed oil, oleic acid, petrolatum, and olive oil. Moisturizing serums that contain hyaluronic acid (such as the Cellex-C Hydra 5 B-Complex) often provide oily skin with as much moisture as they need, and do not cause breakouts. Moisturizer ingredients that are okay for oily skin include beeswax, corn oil, isostearyl neopentate, light mineral oil, octyl palmitate, propelyne glycol, safflower oil, and spermacetti.

Reply:I'd say Nivia, it's not to oily and it's not to dry!
Reply:Cream for an oily face is not the answer. Use soap like Ivory instead. It has drying tendencies.
Reply:if by oily you mean you suffer with spots you could try using a common first aid cream or antiseptic cream, i use savalon on my face every night or there is a cream i cant remember the name of it, it comes in a grey pot with a flip off lid and it can be used on babies and mosquito bites .... anyway it is just as good !

Reply:I use this masque treatment called Radiance Exfoliating Treatment. Its all-natural exfoliants reveal smoother, more lustrous skin. Kaolin, a natural clay-like mud, absorbs toxins and excess oil. Skin is hydrated with algae, glycerin, and aloe. I paid $14.39 for this Nicole Miller masque.

Does ROBOCOP use skin moisturizing cream?
now from what i remember, the only physical remains that can be seen of the police officer who became robocop, was his face %26amp; pubils that were grafted (?) on to the robotic head.
wouldn't that then mean that it is just dead tissue on the "face" of the machine? how can they keep the skin fresh for more than a few days? is there a lotion that is applied, or is there some device built into the robotic body that keeps the face from rotting off?
Does ROBOCOP use skin moisturizing cream?
I would say they prob used a synthetic polaymer to make it look as if it were his actual face. Other than that I couldn't say maybe it's a Dove mostuerizing thing I mean look at Joan Collins

I am black but light skinned is it necessary i use a skin lightening/toning cream to maintain my skin tone?
i know a lot of people with my skin color that use creams like crusader skin toning, maprovate my concern is once i start it might alter my skin color and i might have to use it forever.
I am black but light skinned is it necessary i use a skin lightening/toning cream to maintain my skin tone?
NO YOU DO NOT HAVE TO USE LIGHTENING CREAMS I AM FARELY LIGHT SKINNED DONT USE IT UNLESS YOU HAVE SCARS OR DISCOLORATION ON YOUR SKIN
JUST GOOD OL LOTION

Reply:If your skin is naturally light, you don't need a skin lightening cream to maintain it. It's in your DNA. Yes, you may darken somewhat through the years due to the sun, possible medications and maybe aging, but if you are light, you really don't have to worry about your skin going to the other end of the spectrum.
I'm light, and I wouldn't think of using a skin lightener. When I tan, I become a beautiful golden brown so I like it. And when it fades, I get a little pale, and I warm it up with a little more makeup. Embrace your skin, no matter what hue it happens to be.

you cant avoid the sun making your skin darken because the sun's UVB and UVA rays can penetrate even in the shade.. the right products plus a high spf sunscreen will be your best bet.

What is the best skin firming cream?
I am losing weight and I have some, but not a lot of 'loose skin'. It's not really bad and I know that my skin will eventually snap back into place, but I was wondering if there was something I could use to help it along. The skin in question is mainly my abdomen and thighs.
What is the best skin firming cream?
Nivea Body Skin Firming Moisturizer with Q10 worked really well for me. They made my legs look great. :)

Does skin lightening cream really work?
no
Reply:Yes there are certain brands that do work, but you will not get instant results. I suggest getting a cream prescribed by a dermatologist to get the best results and avoid nasty side effects.

Best skin brightening cream?
Don't use a bleaching cream! They are not safe, especially for African skin.
L'Oreal True Match has a liquid bronzer that comes in lots of shades and has gold flecks in it. Kohl's brand Flirt has a bronze powder blush with gold flecks in it called Sweet Desire. It's a powder, but it's beautiful. Both of these products work really well and cost about 10 dollars.
Revlon also carries skin brightening cream makeup. They changed the packaging, but it used to be called Skin Lights. I used that for a couple of years, and it's a great product too. Like I said, I think it has a different name now, but they still make it. It costs about 13 dollars.

Good luck.

Reply:Acheiving brighter and healthier skin requires EXFOLIATION.
To get the most out of a skin brightening cream, you must exfoliate your face at least 2-3 times a week. Exfoliation removes the dead surface layer of skin cells that givfes the skin a dulled appearance. By removing this layer, you are able to reveal the fresher and newer skin growing underneath, giving you that radiant and brighter complexion.
A good exfoliation product would be Aveeno Skin Brightening Daily Scrub $10.
As for a good skin brightening cream, try Aveenos Daily Skin Brightening Moisturizer $8. Within a couple weeks, you should see a siginficant difference.
You can also create an even more radiant and "dewy" comploexion by using makeup. Here are some inexpensive ones to try:
*Best Cream Highlighter: Wet n Wild MegaGlo™ Face Illuminator $3. Smooth onto cheeks, lips and eyes for a healthy glow with a hint of color.
*Best Gel Illuminator: Bonnebell Gel Bronze in "Luminous" $4. Apply evenly all over or on specific areas of face for a sunkissed glow.
*Best Liquid Illuminator: Laura Geller Illuminizing Color Wash $11. This is very sheer and offers a radiant and brightened wash of color to your face.
*Best Powder Illuminator - Covergirls TruBlend Loose Powder $10.
