Does any one know any good cream for dry skin?
I have dry skin on my feet and it is starting to get sore because of the heat. I also have excema. Does any one know any good cream?

Arbonne has excellent creams for anyone suffering eczema (I have friends who only swear by it) and their foot cream is great.
Do not use any products containing mineral oils, petroleum [vaseline, baby oil or mineral oils in creams] this is a cheap product and dries out skin, imagine on already dry skin= not good.
Get a pumice stone for the shower and apply cream on warm but dry feet, apply socks to lock in moisture.

Extra Emollient Night Cream $11 - this is great for hands, feet, elbows, knees - anywhere that gets super dry. I like putting it on just before bed so my skin is well hydrated in the morning.
Or if you even need something for your face, they have an excellent Intense Moisturizing Cream $30.

for my dry skin i take quick showers everyday rather than long baths.
i would advise changing your socks everyday, also every time you have exercised put a new pair of socks on.
and you should change the shoes you wear everyday (if possible), this allows the sweat to dry out and thus kills any bacteria and fungus present.
i use a petroleum based cream on my skin called e45 cream.
if you were to combine all these together you should see an improvement in your condition.
Reply:I use Aquaphor from Eucerin. It's greasy as hell but it works great. Slather it on, put on a pair of white cotton socks and go to bed. Do that every night and your feet will be as soft as the proverbial babys bottom. It will also heal the fissures you are getting because of the heat.

Is thinning of the skin a TRIAMCINOLONE STEROID cream side effect?
I have eczema and was prescribe triamcinolone cream sort of like ( the thick Euricen cream). I used it for years and then the skin on my inner thighs and hips where I used the cream the most began to thin and wrinkle. My skin started to turn silvery-white and then darkened over the years. I went to a new dermatologist and he said that it was from using the cream too much and then prescribed me Elidel (that did not help) is this a common side effect and if so is there anything to reverse thinning of the skin? It looks as though I have strechmarks from far away until you get closer and see that my skin is actually very thin and wrinkled. So is this a common side effect? and how do I reverse the thinning of the skin I was thinking about get surgery to have the skin on my inner thighs removed but I don't think this is possible being that I'm a very petite women and probably don't have enough skin for the surgeon to stitch me back together.

Yes it may even lighten the skin, but its at a high cost. Many users of these bleaching creams will tell you that once you begin to use these creams you may have to continue to use them. Also these products contain really harmful products that not only bleaches the skin but makes it weak. The users skin becomes so weak that in some cases it begins to peel off. You know that there are various layers to the human skin, this number begins to decrease.
Another consequence of these bleaching creams is that it may have the opposite effect, for instance instead of the lighter skin colour the user was hoping for; they instead break out in black spots or marks on their skin or in this case their face.This results in marked skin for years.
I remember one trip to a Afro- Caribbean hair shop in Peckham where I went into the shop to buy coco butter. Instead of looking around for the product the assistant tried to sell me bleaching creams. I felt offended because not all black people or darker skinned people want to bleach their skin- yes I have a few blemishes but its not that bad, and its nothing that good MAC make-ip cant cover up!!!!!
Anyway the point of this answer is that there are various skin lightening creams and soaps on the market.- but I dont know their names.

Skin whitening cream on my lips, wil it work?
I used to smoke.
I quit.
My lips are dark because of smoking.
My lips used to be pinkish colour, not it has become brown and ugly.
How can i make it pink again without putting lipsticks or colouring?

(I just get it from a mag)
1st brush your lips with toothbrush
2nd put lip balm
3rd put lip gloss
...IT works!!
whitening cream in lips can also make tour lip be pink!! but use it rarely!!
Reply:very few things help lighten lip skin! i would becareful about what you put there because you don't want to perminentley damager you skin even more then it already has been damamaged probably the safest long term alternitive is to have some perminet make up put on it's like facial tattooing you could pick the colour have it done and never worry about it again!

the best thing to do now is stop smoking and start taking good and balanced diet. include lots of fresh fruit juices and fruits in ur diet. though it will take time but it can reduce the blackness of ur lips.

Reply:That could be very dangerous because there is a high likelihood of you ingesting it.......try laser treatments, they brighten skin and since there is no cream etc you dont run the risk of poisoning yourself.
And kudos to you for quitting!
Reply:If you just wait your body will get rid of the nicotine and they will become pink again. Maybe not just as pink as the used to be but definitely not ugly brown. My mom used to smoke and after she's quite her skin color and lip color really changed. Good luck!

I love it and I've had gastric by-pass and it's kept my face from being wrinkled after the weight loss. This stuff works great, and it's only $8.00. You can find it at Wal-Mart! If you want a pic. I can send it and show you how it has worked for me. Let me know.
