I think you can buy a bleach type product from the pharmacy, but this may be for facial hair. The best thing to do is to ask in Boots chemist, they will be able to advise you better.Or maybe if you exfoliate your elbows and get rid of the dead skin it may work.
Reply:You did not mention your skin colour?

There are over the counter products now by many cosmetic brands. For example Shiseido has a whole line of skin whitening products although they are designed for the face i think. Now i don't think these are specific to white skin as shiseido is an asian company.

There are also many products available on the internet, just from a search on google....eerr I mean yahoo!
Reply:Yeh, there are plenty of skin lightening products available to buy. You can buy them in places such as Boots, Superdrug, pharmacies etc. However, I know a home made remedy you could try. I know it sounds silly, but try placing a lemon onto your elbows for about 10 minutes and see if you can see a difference. Apparently the acid in the lemon juice breaks down the dark patches, so they wash away. I've never tried it myself but its worked for my friends and hopefully it might work for you. :)
Reply:among a lot of skin lightening products i've used, i've learned that only safe and potent products work..

safe is without hydroquinone, mercury or steroids that harm skin after longterm use.. potent is unlike most commercial grade products with commercial formulas that show little or no results..

this one got my only vote -
Reply:there's a cream called FADE OUT from Boots %26amp; Spuerdrug etc..

I think it's designed for this purpose.
Reply:Rub your elbows with lemon it is a natural bleaching agent not sure about under the arms though skin is usually more tender there, after you have used the lemon always moisturise.
