Do u rek. "Proactive" skin treatment/cream stuff is worth the money?

It's quite expensive! Have u tried it? does it work just like it does on the ad? Would u try it?

Should I at least try it with the try-tester-30 day money back garentee thingie?

These are gimmicks played by the advertising companises to attract people.
Reply:I bought for my teenage daughter and it worked [along with sensible diet] . If in doubt ask Dr. Be careful as company tries to talk you into automatic repeat orders
Reply:I think it works pretty well. You can buy less expencive treatments at a drug store. I am allergic to the stuff. So it is probably safe to get the 30 day money back guarentee just in case you are allergic to it also.
Reply:Go ahead and try it if you want, I tried it and it didn't work at all... I did however send it back before the 60 days were up, it took forever but i just today got a check for my money back
Reply:yes its expensive but effective.
Reply:Proactive has 10% of benzoyl peroxide, which is the ingredient that dries up pimples. but many people, such as myself, are sensitive to it. i wouldn't recommend it. if you want something similar, try University Medical AcneFree. it has only 3.5% of benzoyl peroxide so it won't dry up your whole face and is a whole lot cheaper. a lot of people i recommend this to comes back and thank me for it.
Reply:it work super well at first, but after about 5 weeks it adapts to your skin. so really, it's a scam. also, it stings hecka bad
Reply:it made me break out more and also my sister but it worked miracles on my other sister
Reply:No,I would get a prescription for Retin A or Accutane. It didn't work for me.
Reply:It works differently for everyone. It works well for me and i've seen significant results, but after a month or so, the skin sort of adapts or get immunes to the cleanser and do not woeks animore. Maybe you can try Retin A or glycolic gel, see a dermatologist for help. You need to maintain a good habit, diet and so on. It takes patience to show results. Good Luck.
Reply:I am in the skin care biz and can tell you Proactive is in my opinion vastly overpriced. It is a fine product, but nothing that you could not get at Target or Wal-Mart and save 80%. Clean and Clear products are a great value.

The main ingredient they use is benzoyl peroxide, which as I said can be bought at Target. The toner is meaninless.

If you are interested I can email info on a complete daily regimen that will be very helpful..my teen daughters follow it and it is very helpful for them. icesolutions@gmail.com

Best of luck.
Reply:I've been using it for a year and its well worth the money. I love it.
