My toddlers skin keeps reacting to suncream, anyone know a good sun-cream to use?

I have been using 'Kids Soltan, 50 factor' and have also tried 'Nivea children, 50 factor'.

It took me a while to figure out why his cheeks kept coming up in red blotches, at first I thought it was eczma, but it is the sun cream.

Does anyone know a good sun cream that is for sensitive skin, or any tips are welcome, thanks.

You can buy "no ad" the green one or the pink baby one. My sister has really bad eczema and this is the only one she can use. You can get it in woolies and it's cheap. Good Luck.
Reply:He/she is probably allergic to an ingredient in the sun cream. A doctor can do test to find out want it is..
Reply:Anything hypoallergenic is good. I use water babies hypo because my daughter is like that. Some kids just are super sensitive though, so if it doesn't help my doing that I would ask your doctor what you can use.
Reply:you could be using too much wich is causing the skin to not be able to breathe.

i use my face lotion spf stuff on my grandchildren's faces. it's worth the money to have them protected.
Reply:Aveno has a sunscreen. I haven't used it before but it by Aveno so its probably really good for baby skin.
Reply:I have always used Banana Boat Sunblock for babies, it hasn't bothered my daughter. Somebody else mentioned Aveeno, try that, it is good stuff too.
Reply:Try a lower SPF like 15.
Reply:My daughter has the same problem, and we use Neutrogena Sensitive Skin and that works well for her. But I still need to be religious about washing it off her as soon as we're inside.

Good luck!
Reply:My daughter has that same problem. Her doctor said to try the sun screen life guards use it has a frog on it or somethin. If that don't work then just don't put it where he is sensitive like his face.
