The best thing to do is to get some St. Ives Apricot Scrub for Blemish and Blackhead Control. It is oil free and has salicylic acid. You can get it at any Wal-Mart or most drug stores. I have been using it for 8 years and I never have any problems with blackheads. But, the mistake that most people make when using these kinds of scrubs and cleansers is making it a chore. If you just use a little to scrub your face with everytime you take a shower instead of using soap it will really work. Inevitably though you will still get the occasional pimple. When this happens rub a little bit of toothpaste (yes I said toothpaste) on the affected area before you go to bed and wash it away in the morning before going to work/school. Be sure to use the paste kind though and not the gel kind. I really hope this helps you out, Good Luck.
I get black heads alot, done of yallknow wut kind of skin cream i can try?
A lot of times when you wash your face with soap and water, which is the best by far, sometimes you may not rinse all the soap off completely.Just rinse for a few more seconds....Pat dry
There is a special complexion soap out there called Promise!
My dermatologist put me on to it,,(she also uses soap and water).
Reply:The above answer is good. Try also any acne cream that has Salycitic Acid and use it regularly. And always keep your hands off your skin!

Reply:First you want a mild face wash,Never use soap on face,Buy a Neutrgena Face wash for your type of skin,it will tell you on bottle,Like exsample:Oily skin or Normal to dry skin,Then buy same brand Astringing Toner,You use right after wash face ,Pat dry and then use astringent with cotton balls,Go down face,Not up,This will remove your black heads then and tighten your pores at same time,If black heads are dip,It may take 1-2 weeks of using before their gone,But each time you use it will bring them closer to surfecs,Know by same brand face cream for your type of skin also, use that 5- mins. after Astringent,You can Buy all at C.V.S. or Wallgreens and they usly come in 3-steps,so they will be all in face cream isle also they each run from $6:99-$15:99,Thatschip,And They work Great!Good Luck,Hollywood!
Reply:Blackheads are the result of skin oil getting trapped in the pores. The root cause of this is too much skin oil production. One of the root causes of too much oil production (the casue you can control) is overcleansing with harsh products. Don't use soap, it is too harsh and leaves a residue, your skin will fight back with more oil and more blackheads will occur! Get a mild face cleanser, the milder the better. The mildest is Cetaphil or the generic right next to it on the shelf, that is what my dermatologist recommended to me for sensitive skin. Once a week do a deep cleanse of some sort, like a scrub, clean and clear makes a good blackhead scrub in a blue tube. Use some product with salycylic acid especially before bed, I like the moistened pads you wipe on, Oxy 10 I think its called? or there is a lotion. These are drying so put them only on the blackhead affected areas. Then in the morning wash it off. I can't remember if you are a girl or guy - if you are a girl and you really want to wear makeup, the best is just a loose powder instead of foundation. Next is just tinted moisturizer, third is something that says its for oily skin and doesn't clog pores. The more makeup, the more blackheads so consider this, try just the powder thats what I use and I like it.
Reply:Traditional Black Soap is brownish-black in color. It is soft with an organic shape. It has a delicate texture %26amp; a natural earthy smell. It is not oily or scented. Black Soap has been used for black hair care %26amp; black skin care for centuries. Today people from all walks of life are benefiting from this amazing African soap. African black soap is mostly found in Ghana. However, other countries have their own version of African black soap. Nothing compares to the original African black soap from Ghana.
