The percentage of the active ingredient (benzoyl peroxide, or salicylic acid) in that product is probably too high for your skin to tolerate, especially if you use it that much. Honestly, the best thing you can put on it is neosporin until it heals, and don't touch it. Your hands have lots of bacteria, and that's what causes acne in the first place. Oh, and please stop popping your pimples! All it does is injur the skin, and spread the bacteria that caused the pimple in the first place. The best way to control acne is to wash your face twice a day and use a moisturizer product with salicylic acid in it. If you need a spot treatment use it only once a day to prevent irritaiton.
Reply:You should probably see a doctor about this first. Those cremes burn your skin for a reason. Your skin may be allergic to one or more of the chemicals in the creme. You should try to find out what they are so that this does not happen again. I would keep drinking alot of water, but also find anti bacterial wipes and clean the area with exposed skin from time to time, to help prevent possible infection.
