I need suggestions for a good face cream that helps to even out skin tones.?

I'm an African American female, some parts of my face are light and others are dark. I recently just bought Ambi Complexion Bar, and Ambi Skin Discoloration Fade Cream (Extra Moisturizing). I just wanted to know has anyone else tried Ambi before and what other products work well.

i have tried all kinds and a friend of mine is the fashion editor of a major woman's magazine in canada. we love oil of olay regenerist and aveeno with soy. they will both help to even skin tone over time. they are cheap but very effective.
