Try breaking the small capsules of vitamin "E". The liquid can be rubbed all over the hands. If no change, within a week, then see a Dermatologist, as previousely recommended.
If the vitamin "E" works, then just about any reasonably priced hand lotion, containing this vitamin, will be sufficient. The lotion will be used as an on-going therapy.
My hands are extremely chapped to the point, they bleed..Any recommendations for a good skin cream?
See your dermatologist, it could be a number of reasons.
Reply:the hemp lotion at the body shop in the silver tube did wonders for my boyfriend who has terriby chapped hands in the winter season
Reply:Zimms crack cream
Reply:use eucerin. its awesome
Reply:purchase eucerin cream (not the lotion. it comes in a jar. it looks like shortening) slather it on at night, and wrap your hands in something like socks. my husband has this problem, and i started doing this to him at night. now his hands are almost as soft as mine.
Reply:Many lotions %26amp; creams will burn if they are chapped that bad. Use vaseline petroleum jelly on damp hands before bed. If it feels too greasy put sock on your hands. one or two applications will do it.
Reply:Corn Huskers Lotion, this stuff is great! Apply the lotion and put some socks over your hands while you sleep. You should see a big improvement the very next day. Good luck.
Reply:Sounds like eczema. Look at the drug store for remedies.
